When you send your product to us, we’ll verify what kind of service it needs. We’ll either repair it or replace it with a product that's new or equivalent to new in both performance and reliability. How much will it cost?

When receiving my Beats Executive I enjoyed them for about 3 months until the left speaker became very quiet with uneven sound from the other side. I do not listen to music loud and the headphones are still in new condition. After contacting apple support for warranty they started a WO# for me but needed a serial number. Generally, most of the serial numbers of Beats Studio are printed on the package. This can be found near the barcode section. If the numbers are too small, try to check it using a magnifying glass. You can also take a photo of it using your phone and try to zoom it out.

After examining your Beats, your technician will confirm the total costs for repair or replacement. The prices for damage, battery service, and lost Beats are for repairs made by Apple. Pricing and terms might vary at other service providers. In some cases, a repair might be covered by the Apple warranty, an AppleCare plan, or consumer law.

Accidental damage

If your product was damaged or your repair isn’t covered by the Apple Limited Warranty, AppleCare+, or consumer law, you might be able to repair or replace it for an out-of-warranty fee.

Battery service

Batteries are consumable parts that sometimes fail because of a defect or because they wear out through normal use. The Apple Limited Warranty covers a defective battery, but it doesn’t cover wear from normal use.

If your battery has a manufacturing defect and it's covered by our warranty, AppleCare+, or consumer law, we'll service it for no additional cost. If your battery issue isn't covered, we offer out-of-warranty battery service for a fee.

If you have AppleCare+ for Headphones, it offers replacement coverage if your eligible Beats headphone or earphone battery holds less than 80 percent of its original capacity.

Is your Beats product covered by AppleCare+?

AppleCare+ gives you expert technical support and hardware coverage from Apple, including accidental damage protection. Each incident of accidental damage is subject to a service fee.
If you don't have AppleCare+, you'll pay the out-of-warranty fee for that type of repair.

Apple Limited Warranty and proof of purchase

If our warranty, your AppleCare plan, or consumer law don't cover your repair, you'll pay out-of-warranty fees.

Your country or region might have consumer-protection laws for some repair issues.

Our guarantee after service

We guarantee our service, including replacement parts, for 90 days or the remaining term of your Apple warranty or AppleCare+ coverage, whichever is longer. We offer this whenever you get service from us or from an Apple Authorized Service Provider. This is in addition to rights provided by consumer law.

Look for your serial number

To make the serial number easier to read, move to a well-lit area, put your device under a strong light, or use a magnifier. You can also take a photo of the number with your mobile phone, then zoom in on the photo.

If you have the original packaging for your Beats product, you might see the serial number near the barcode. You might also be able to find the serial number on the original product receipt or invoice.

Pull back the rubber strip on the back of your speaker and look above the USB port.

To find the serial number of your Beats product when it's connected to your Android device or paired in the Beats app for Android:

1. Open the Beats app.
2. Scroll to 'Under the hood: Serial number.'
